It is quite evident that Bank of Baroda is not releasing any vacancy in the common recruitment exercise being conducted by IBPS. Bank of Baroda Manipal is a separate recruitment project and 600 Vacancies have been announced.

This year, Bank of Baroda Manipal has brought some changes in the Exam Pattern and this will definitely affect the performance of candidates in the real time scenario. There will be only 2 Stages in the recruitment of Probationary Officer by BOB Manipal viz.

What is BOB PGDBF Programme 2018?

BOB PGDBF stands for Bank Of Baroda, Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance. This is a special recruitment drive conducted by BOB where shortlisted candidates get the admission in Manipal School Of Banking, Bangalore. It is an exhaustive course of 12 (9+3) Months where candidates also get hand on tools experience in one of the branches of Bank of Baroda. On successful completion, the candidate would be awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Banking & Finance and will be offered appointment in the Bank as Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade / Scale-I.

BOB Manipal Vacancies 2018

This year, Bank of Baroda has released 600 Vacancies for the recruitment of Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade / Scale-I in the Bank. These 600 Vacancies will be divided into multiple batches and these batches will start one after another. 3 Batches are expected to start in the Month of November/December and bank of baroda may increase the number of batches based on the requirement. BOB Manipal 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Bank of Baroda has defined Essential Qualification, Age Limit and Various other criteria for a candidate to be eligible for for the post of Probationary Officer (PO) in Junior Management Grade / Scale-I. Let us look at the Eligibility Criteria For BOB Manipal 2018 in detail.

  • Nationality: Citizen of India or A Subject Of Nepal or Bhutan
  • Age (as on 2nd July 2018): Between 20 years and 28 years i.e. candidates born on or after 3 July 1990 and on or before 2nd July 1998 are eligible to apply.
  • Educational Qualification (as on 2nd July 2018): A Graduate with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.

The BOB Manipal 2018 application process started from 12th June 2018. Candidates are required to visit the Bank Of Baroda Official Website to fill in the online application form as the entire process to apply for BOB Manipal 2018 exam will be online. The application fee for BOB Manipal PO Exam is Rs. 600/- for General category and Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.

Bank Of Baroda Probationary Officer Exam Pattern

Bank Of Baroda Manipal Recruitment 2018 for the post of Probationary Officer has been released. Most of the students are surprised with the changes brought in the Exam Pattern for the recruitment of PO in 2018. The number of Sections remains the same but the Number of Questions and Marks alloted to the different section has been changed. This year SBI introduced sectional timing in written examination but Bank Of Baroda decided to continue with the Composite timing. Hence a student will get a composite time of 2 Hours and 30 Minutes for Objective Exam and 30 Minutes for Descriptive Exam.
